The Last Frontier a.k.a. Savage Wilderness (1955)
Anne's Niche: Actress
Character: Corinna Marston
Cast and Crew
My Too Cents: Another movie that really didn't hold my interest.
And because of that I don't quite remember exactly what it's about. I didn't
like it, lots of drunks and hate and probably there was supposed to be a lesson,
I couldn't find it.
Synopsis:
___Mature is showcased as
part of a trio of trappers who lose a year's worth of skins to marauding
Indians in this routine western. The three arrive at a cavalry outpost and
take jobs as scouts. But all is not well at the fort, whose residents fear
Indian attack and hate the new commander, Preston. Mature chases after
Preston's woman, Bancroft. The performers make the best of weak scripting
and direction in this sometimes absurd story about the taming of a "noble
savage." Oddly, and adding to its defects, much of the film was shot at night.
